EnergyHub is a Brooklyn-based startup building home energy monitoring and control systems to help people reduce the amount of electricity they use and provide a human interface to the ‘Smart Grid’. Prior to founding EnergyHub, Stephan worked for Honeybee Robotics in the Technology Development group developing advanced R&D concepts for NASA and other government agencies. His interests in sustainable design range from energy efficiency and the effectiveness of informational feedback to the real environmental costs of products throughout their life-cycle to the creative use of recycled materials.
